Mark R. Leonard

Mark's practice is focused on trademark and copyright registration, general intellectual property counseling, e-commerce, licensing, and litigation in the areas of trademark and copyright infringement, computer intrusion, Trademark Trial and Appeal Board proceedings, and ICANN Internet domain name disputes.

Mark is an officer of the Executive Committee of the California State Bar Intellectual Property Law Section ("IP Section"), serving as Secretary for 2011, Vice-Chair in 2012, and Chair in 2013.  He is also the Vice-Chair of the IP Section's Legislation Committee, and Secretary of the IP Section's Trademark Committee. Mark was named a Northern California Rising Star by Super Lawyers magazine in 2009, 2010 and 2011.

Prior to practicing law, Mark worked in government at the federal and state levels as a legislative staff member and spokesperson and in the public relation field where he specialized in media relations and crisis communications training.
